this is the beef horfun with black bean sauce from last week's menu....
hmmm....i went to central market mainly to buy horfun (broad rice noodles)...but i borrowed books, bought various other groceries and came home without the horfun..so i used the thai rice noodles in my pantry...but they are so thirsty!!! I added ALOT of liquid and still couldn't achieve the slurpy consistency... :( shall try again in a few months' time... with real horfun...
oh...n see the many broken pieces?? mainly due to the fact that oil was used sparingly...health over whole strands of noodles, a small payoff nah??

culinaryprincess: taste ok lah....it's good enough to warrant a second attempt but i really wanna recreate the 'wet' type.. :)
